COMPLETION TIMEFRAMES

To ensure you are kept up to date on the progress of your home, a Universal Customer Service team member will be in
communication with you at several stages throughout construction.

On average, the building process can take 10-13 months to complete, depending on a number of factors; complexity, house
size, weather, Council requirements, and other external issues beyond Universal’s control.

Your Contract to Purchase has an estimated completion date, however this is only an estimate due to the above reasons.
Once your home has passed the Code of Compliance Certificate by Council, we will confirm a settlement date. This is
approximately four weeks prior to possession date.

           SETTLEMENT AND POSSESSION

Once the settlement date is confirmed, Universal’s Maintenance Manager will call you to arrange an inspection of your
new home. Please allow one hour for this.

Upon completion of your home, and upon receipt of all written Council approvals, Universal will contact your Solicitor to
finalise arrangements to legally transfer ownership of the property to you. Your Solicitor will contact you to complete the
           necessary paperwork.

On settlement day, once Universal’s Lawyer has advised us that all monies are cleared, your New Home Consultant will
contact you to arrange the collection of your keys and to take possession of your new home.

Congratulations, you are now the proud owner of a Universal home!
