President’s Letter
It is is is with sincere humility and and and and and appreciation I I pen this letter to our Cotillion Leadership and and and and and Service Program (CLASP) cohort their parents and and and and and and families and and and and and and friends and and and and and and supporters of of the the the Memphis Memphis (TN) Chapter of of of The Links Incorporated CLASP CLASP CLASP is is is a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a signature program program and and and and a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a model program program in in the the the the Memphis Memphis community community CLASP CLASP gives young ladies the the the next generation of of women leaders exposure to to cultural events emerging issues social experiences and the the opportunity to to give give back through community community service For more than three decades the the Memphis (TN) Chapter of The Links Incorporated has had the the privilege to to present young ladies to to society and during “normal times” a a a a a a a a a a a a a a Holiday Cotillion culminating our CLASP year would take place as a a a a a a a a a a a a a a gift to to the the the Memphis community Despite the the the continuing challenges of of the the the pandemic we have been fortunate to to to continue our our commitment to to to future leaders of of of African descent by adding to to to our our more than 600 debutantes with this outstanding class of of young ladies Like last year we we were called upon to to be creative and and adaptable in in in providing our next generation of of leaders with unforgettable experiences in in in in in in making their debut into society Again we have been reminded of of our resilience beauty and passion to to make the the world better Like last year our our presentation of the the the 2021 debutantes is is different but but the the the experiences still rewarding and and magical We have been honored by the the the the privilege to to to share this journey into womanhood with these these outstanding young ladies Debutantes thank you you you for allowing us to to to be be be a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a part of of of your lives during these these times I I sincerely hope and and and and pray the the the the the experiences have have been meaningful and and and and valuable Each of of of you you you you have have shown us the the the the the Memphis (TN) Chapter of of of The Links Incorporated and and and and the the the the the community you’re on on the the the path to to to lead and and and transform communities Without any doubt I I I know you you you will be impactful and and and and significant contributors to to to to to society The The Memphis (TN) Chapter of The The Links Incorporated stands on on on on a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a rich legacy to to to to to empower and and and and and transform our our community community Our service to to to to to the the community community is is enhanced through our our our our our our partnerships and and and and connections to to to to families To the the parents and and and and guardians thank thank you you you you for for allowing us to to be a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a part part of your your daughter’s journey Sponsors thank thank you you you you for for your your support support Your
