GENERAL
From the brief reports received from Daughter Lodges in the Region, the Board is happy to report that by and large the financial position of the Lodges is satisfactory. Past Masters and junior Brethren are evincing keen interest in the ceremonial working and the administration of Lodge. Peace, Love and Harmony as ever prevail among the Brethren. The Lodges reflect a very healthy and vibrant growth during the period.
7. Report on Charitable Trust and Masonic Foundation
The Regional Grand Lodge of Southern India Charitable Trust made the following charities during the
period of the report:
Donation
Ø Rs.2,20,000.00 to Lodge Ramaprasad No.228 for their charity project of providing Prosthetics and Orthotics implements to specially abled people, burial of unclaimed bodies from Govt.Hospitals and conducting eye conservation camps & subsequent care (including Lodge contribution of Rs.1,22,000.00)
Scholarship
Ø Rs.15,000.00 to Mr.Venkiteela Kumar, Studying B.Tech III year and Rs.15,000.00 to Mr.Ravilla Saikumar, studying B.Tech.II year, recommended by Lodge Murray Hammick No.90,chittoor (including Lodge contribution of Rs.7,500.00 each)
Ø Rs.46,400.00 to National Boys Girls Educational Society towards scholarship for 10 students Ms.T. Jothika, Ms.S.Sandhiya, Ms.T.Sai Preethi, Ms.S.Divya Dharshini & Ms. G. Tamilalagi- studying VII Standard and Ms.K.K.Vaishnavi, Mr.K.Vaishnavi, Ms.K.Akshaya -studying X Standard and Ms.P. Umamageshwari studying XII std recommended by Lodge Accountants No.194 (including Rs.25000/- Lodge contribution)
