On 15t h April 2017, R W The Regional Grand Master participated in the Silver Jubilee Celebrations of Lodge Meridian No.287, Coimbatore.
On 22n d July 2017, R W The Regional Grand Master participated in the Silver Jubilee Celebrations of Lodge Sakthi No.288, Gobi.
7. Report of the Regional Board of General Purposes
UNIVERSAL BROTHERHOOD DAY
Universal Brotherhood Day , viz., 24t h June, 2017 was celebrated by all the Lodges in the Region under the guidance of R W The Regional Grand Master and concerned Assistant Regional Grand Masters. To mark the event many Daughter Lodges in the Region undertook Charity projects such as Blood Donation camp, Eye camp, Poor feeding, distribution of Uniforms and notebooks, Providing food to the inmates of the Orphanages, Scholarship to the deserving students, etc.
REPORT OF E-ADMINISTRATION / GOVERNANCE
Electronic Administration of the Region in it’s fourth year has been well received by the daughter units. REGAL is being used by Craft units for E-Filing of Installation Returns, Half Yearly Returns, Past Masters’ Returns and updation of Membership. By the end of this year Chapter, Mark and RAM units will also come under the ambit of REGAL.
The Regional Secretariat is using cloud computing thereby sharing relevant data on a real time basis with an aim of single point entry of data, significantly minimising duplication of data / errors.
The Directory of Regional Officers has been made available as a online version in the Regional Website and as a Mobile Application.
We acknowledge the valuable inputs provided by the Dy. RGM., in streamlining the e-administration.
RITUAL WORKING COMPETITION-2017
112 Craft Lodges took part in the RWC-Is t Stage for the year 2017 of which 52 qualified to the IIn d Stage. 17 Chapters, 22 Mark Lodges and 10 RAM Lodges are participating in the RWC.
MASONSOUTH
The Regional Grand Lodge Newsletter ‘Masonsouth’ were in the digital version and the latest issue covering the period 11t h February, 2017 to 31s t July, 2017 was uploaded in the RGL website. Printed copies of newsletter were sent to all Daughter Lodges, RGL and GLI Board Members and to the senior Brethren in the Region. The Board places on record its appreciation to W Bro. M. Anand, Editor for bringing out the issue in record time.
