This small song booklet was originally prepared for use in
a children’s Christmas program in December 2013, but after

learning about the origin of the word “Christmas” and also

after learning about the pagan origins of many of the

traditions that are associated with this holiday that we

celebrate as the birthday of Christ, I can no longer, in good

conscience, continue to celebrate Christmas in the way that it

has been celebrated for many years now, not only by the

secular world but also by many churches with their

             performances and plays.

Also, it has been determined by scholarly study and

                                                               th
calculations that December 25 more than likely is not the
actual birthday of our Savior. However, it is a biblical truth that

JESUS WAS SUPERNATURALLY CONCEIVED BY GOD’S HOLY

SPIRIT AND BORN into this sin-cursed world for the express

purpose of offering His body as an atoning sacrifice to pay the

penalty for our sins (Hell), and His birth was joyously

announced by angels and acknowledged and proclaimed by

             shepherds and wise men.

So I’m sharing this song booklet not to promote Christmas

programs or plays, but to also joyously acknowledge and

proclaim the glorious events surrounding the birth of our

             Savior.
