• Ports on the back of a computer include: keyboard, mouse, serial or COM,
printer or parallel, USB, video or monitor, line in, line out, microphone,
joystick or game, phone or modem, Ethernet or network, etc.
• Computer performance is determined by CPU speed, amount of memory
or RAM, the type and speed of the video card, the hard disk speed, free
space, and fragmentation, and the number of programs running at the same
time.
