We congratulate and thank the Pune branch!
The President-in-Chief, Governing Body and all Delegates who attended the National AGM at Pune in October 2018 once again congratulate the Pune branch for working closely with the Bishop’s School Camp principal Mr Joel Edwin and Kalyani Nagar principal Mr Shayne MacPherson and their staff while hosting a truly memorable AGM. A sincere ‘thank you’ to each one of you for the special effort that you put in.
They were excellently led by their president, the calm and cllected Mr Joel Edwin. He was ably supported by his dynamic and hardworking vice presidents Mrs Denise Chakranarayan, Mrs Beena D’souza and Mr Ashley Eates, the branch’s rock solid and ever reliable treasurer Mr Darryl Pounde, and the super-efficient secretary who gives the Association so much of his time, Mr Karl Young. Each of the committee members carried out their responsibilities with sincerity and a smile, and we thank them for it: Mrs Iona Furnell, Mrs Belinda Route, Mrs Judy Mitra, Mrs Lorraine Fernandez, Mr Rees Phillips, Mr George Adshead and Mr Avinash Seymour.
Pune’s youth committee supported their seniors all the way and added a wonderful touch of youthfulness to the AGM. To them we say, “Well done and thank you”: Michelle Lazar (president), Barry Barnes (secretary), Althea O’Malley, Jessica Lazar, Quinton Doll, Sylvester Kane, Gwendoline Henriques.
