careers, invariably spoke about their father’s great love for the Association whenever I interacted with them.
I was fortunate enough to meet him in May 2017 at his home, a heritage property, and confer on him The Pride of the Community honour on behalf of our Association.
The passing of Uncle Ivan is a great loss for our Association and the community. We offer our deepest condolences to Dennis and Craig, his beloved brother Alan, his niece Coral and the entire family. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
Della Godfrey, Andhra Pradesh
Della Godfrey, former MLA (Andhra Pradesh), former Vice President and Governing Body Member of The All-India Anglo-Indian Association passed away on 23 April 2019.
Over the years, Della was generous and hardworking as a leader and made many friends across the country. At our AGMs, she participated actively at the business sessions through the day and was her friendly and charming self at the evening get-togethers. It is indeed a great loss for our Association and the community.
We offer our deepest condolences to her family as we hold them in prayer. May Della’s soul rest in eternal peace.
