Draco is an extremely athletic gelding, with tons of suspension and scope. He has impeccable movement in an amateur friendly package.
Sire: His sire Darcon is by Darco. Darco is one of the most accomplished show jumping sires of all time. He is a leading stallion that has produced the most offspring competing at Grand Prix in the world. For five years Darco led the World Breeding Federation of Sport Horse jumping sire rankings and produced over 3,000 foals. He won his first World Cup qualifier in 1988 with Ludo Phillipaerts and in 1989 they placed at the WEG. Among countless other top-level victories in international show jumping, Darco and Phillipaerts competed at the 1992 Olympic Games
in Barcelona. His sire’s dam is by Contender. Contender has proven
to be one of the most influential sons of Calypso II. Contender is out
of Gofine who’s grand sire was the late Ladykiller xx. Gofine produced several top show jumpers including the international performing horse Ulina. Contender is the sire of over 40 approved stallions and equally 40 national premium mares. He has dominated German Breeding values for many years now and continues to produce exciting young stallions. So, performance record or not, Darcon has the blood behind him to produce exceptional jumpers.
Dam: Draco’s dam is by Le savage who goes back to Lord. Lord is described as an Elegant stallion demonstrating the features of the interna- tional Thoroughbred horse. Great charisma and good lines. Head could be more attractive, expressive eye, long, classic riding horse neck. Very good conformation of shoulder / withers / croup.
