Nitro is an appealing prospect with over 5 months under saddle at sale date. He is very willing and aims to please type of horse. Extremely attentive and willing to learn; brave and gentle mannered. As a foal in 2018 he went to the Keuring where he received a 1st premium and placed in the top 10 of North America. The judges’ comments were: The long-lined and well-muscled colt Nitro MS has good length in his body and high, long withers with a long sloping shoulder. He has a supple trot with good suspension and a well-balanced canter with good length of stride. His trainer describes him as honest and forgiving.
Nitro enjoys being swooned over and will bond easily to someone who dotes on him.
Sire: Nassau was honored as the 2005 KWPN Stallion of the Year with good reason. He was the top ranked Rabo/KWPN sire, the silver medalist in the
2005 Dutch Championships, and the individual and team bronze medalist at the 2005 European Championships held in Italy. Nassau’s sire is the very famous Indoctro, who, with his sire Capitol and grandsire Caletto, belong to the world’s top showjumper progenitors. Nassau passes on a lot of his quality to his offspring and has produced many horses competing in 1.30m -1.60m.
Dam: Calisa is a Lux Z daughter. Lux Z commenced a successful international career with Italian show jumping rider, Jerry Smit, and the pair competed at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney. They also won the Pulsar Crown competitions
at Valkenswaard and Cannes and participated in the WEG in Jerez in 2004. Calisa has a great pedigree coming from the old legends Libero H and Beaujoulais. She is well bred and very workable.
