Lex is a great jumper prospect and could also develop into a top equitation horse. He is light and soft on the aids and has a perfect amount of blood. His canter is very scopey and yet still easy to sit. His trot is very elastic with plenty of suspen- sion, and his walk is relaxed and loose with a lot of reach. His flying changes are coming along nicely. Lex has a beautiful scopey jump, he is very brave and careful to the jumps. Lex has shown in the .90m jumpers this summer with many clear rounds. He schools at home to 1.30m. He is lovely in the barn, easy for the far- rier and vet. Good to clip. Trailers well, and happy when at the show.
Sire: The Preferent stallion Ahorn was one of the top producers of sport horses both in Holland and abroad. Approved in almost every studbook, he produced mare show champions like Haciende (Dutch Champion), Helena (European Champion), and Korenbloem (Reserve European Champion). He also produced many international level jumpers such as Ursula XII (Scott Brash), Ivoor (Francois Mathy Jr), Eurocommerce Geneve (Gerco Schroder), High Valley Z (Jos Lansink), etc. These sporthorses will keep the name of Ahorn at the top of the lists in the future, but so will his approved sons Hattrick, Matterhorn and Ohorn and others. His influence in breeding and in the sport is growing every day.
Dam: VDL Viola H became an approved CWHBA mare in 2015 with that years Ontario Foal Futurity champion, Kumasi, at side. Her sire, Flemmingh, is an internationally appreciated dressage stallion whose offspring are beautiful, big, long-lined horses with three perfect gaits including three approved sons: Krack C, Santino and Lingh; and many approved daughters, champion foals and dressage performance horses along with a number of offspring that have jumped to the highest level. Dam sire, Nimmerdor, is somewhat of a legend in both the sport
of Show Jumping as well as international sport horse breeding. After an impres- sive sport career, he sired 18 KWPN approved sons and so far, has 39 KWPN approved grandsons.
