Z was one of the most influential stallions in the European breeding program with a vast number of approved sons. CALYPSO II, was the first Holsteiner to be accepted by the Hanoverian approval board, he was one of the best German show jumpers of his time and was known for his rideability. Winner of his stallion test in jumping RABINO passes on his rythmic movement, good temperament, and excellent conformation to his offspring.
Dam: AFTERNOON DELIGHT – She gained Premium status in the Canadian Warmblood registry in part due to her excellent movement. She excelled in dressage as a young horse. As a broodmare, she has been a consistent producer, she hails from one of the stron-
gest producing dam line the breeders have. With Donner Bube (Donnerhall/Pik Bube I/ Grundstein I) as her sire and Wodan (Winnetou/Luckner/Frustra II) in her immediate lin- eage, she is related to an astounding number of top performance horses in both dressage and showjumping. He is now retired, sound, as lead stallion of D and R Ranching His offspring have proving to be versatile competitors with individuals successful in Dressage, Hunter, Show Jumping and Combined Driving. He has produced offspring that have won or placed in all divisions of the Canadian Performance Futurities. From the 2008 CWHBA year-end show, Donner Bube sired the winner of the Alberta sires foal futurity as well as the dam of the winner of the open foal futurity, who was also named Young Horse Champion! He is the sire of Dia – 2007 Alberta Champion Mare and Reserve Champion 3-year-old Materiale performer, Danya – 2008 Reserve Champion mare and 3-year-old Materiale Champion, and sire of the dam to Reflection – Reserve Champion 3-year-old Materiale winner. A grandson of Donner Bube, was purchased by Edward Gal and exported to Europe. His offspring and “grand-get” also are proving to be willing and athletic partners!
