Joffre is a personable, attractive colt with a top jumping pedigree from imported parents. His conformation and movement are correct and this medium boned colt looks like he will be a nice type for modern sport. Joffre shows a willing and sensible temperament and has had age-appropriate handling and is comfortable trailering. His exciting pedigree is packed with top 1.60m horses like Emerald, Voltaire, Der Senaat, and Darco and is from a top performance mareline. He has already shown excellent technique and instincts in the chute and has a powerful easy canter. Joffre is an exciting colt for a jumper rider looking to get into the big- ger classes.
Sire: Jethro Tull is a long legged, gorgeous stallion who is very modern in both type and frame. As a 6-year-old in 2020 he competed to 1.30m with very limited showing due to the pandemic. He has excellent jumping technique with an espe- cially impressive hind-end and world class scope that we haven’t even started to test. We are very excited for the future with this incredible horse and will con- tinue to take our time developing him so that he will have many years at the top of the sport. He has a great temperament and is very laid back at home but has proven to have plenty of blood in the ring. He has an absolutely fantastic canter with a lot of carrying power, his trot is very flat kneed and long and low.
Dam: Jaita Versoe is a BWP mare imported from Belgium. She was campaigned in the young horse classes and qualified for the 6-year-old finals (1.30m) in Belgium. She was thenimported to the USA where she was a successful junior jumper. Marley has excellent jump technique and high rideability with the beauti- ful head from her father. Her sire Der Senaat had many years at Grand Prix level where he was known for his beautiful type and rideability. He is now also proving to be a very good producer with a high number of 1.45m-1.60m offspring and his sons are producing very well. His sire President is notable for being the sire of Eve Jobs superstar Venue d’Fees. Marley’s dam Tsita by Darco also produced Hitarco Versoe (s. Chatman) who competes at the Junior Nations Cup level for the British team as well as Gitta Versoe who is the mother of Chablis 24 Z com- peting at 1.40m. Marley brings a lot of scope and talent with a biddable tempera- ment.
