Best of the Best
[New Zealand] We’ve scooped two titles at the Roy Morgan Customer Satisfaction Awards for 2017. We won both the International Airline of the Year and Best of the Best titles. We were also awarded top scores in 21 other categories, resulting in the highest customer satisfaction ratings in New Zealand. The awards focus on recognising companies that consistently deliver an exceptional level of service.
Airline of the Year gong in Delhi
[India] We’ve clinched the Airline of the Year – Middle East award for the seventh year in a row at the GMR-Indira Gandhi International Airport Annual Awards ceremony held in Delhi. e annual event is hosted by the GMR Group, which currently owns and operates the airport.
We won the award based on key performance indicators such as cargo uplifted, on time performance, turnaround performance, tra c load and baggage delivery punctuality, and payment average timelines.

Amsterdam to get five more flights
[Netherlands] You’ll soon enjoy more opportunities to visit the capital of the Netherlands and enjoy its artistic heritage, elaborate canal system and beautiful neighbourhoods on one of our four additional weekly services starting from 1 December. A fth ight will be added from 1 January 2019.
ese ights will complement the existing double daily service, providing an earlier departure from Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (AMS) for our customers.
15 years of Auckland operations
[New Zealand] We’re celebrating the 15- year anniversary of Emirates’ Auckland route. Since the inaugural flight in 2003, over two million customers have flown to and from New Zealand’s largest city.
The route originally flew to Auckland daily via Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. Today, we operate a daily Airbus A380 non-stop flight from Auckland to Dubai, and a new daily Boeing 777 service via Bali, offering our New Zealand-based customers more choice and flexibility.
Additional ights to Toronto
[Canada] Two new ights have been added to our Toronto (YYZ) service, providing more choice to our customers. e ights, introduced on 18 August, are operated by our iconic Airbus A380.
Last year, we celebrated 10 years of services to Canada, with the Toronto route consistently seeing high demand, especially after the introduction of the A380 in 2009.
EK145 will depart DXB early in the morning on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.*
EK146 will depart from AMS on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday late in the morning, and arrive at DXB in the evening.*
*Exact timings to be announced
EK241 departs DXB on Saturday and Sunday at 3:30am, and arrives in YYZ at 9:30am.
On Saturday, EK242 departs YYZ at 2:25pm and arrives at DXB at 11:40am the next day.
On Sunday, EK242 departs YYZ at 2:30pm and arrives at DXB at 11:25am the next day.
We operate the world’s longest Airbus A380 non-stop ight to Auckland.
