Annuity
Opportunities to participate in tax sheltered annuities are available to Region One employees through vendors approved by the Region One Board of Directors. Contact with the insurance company is initiated by the sta  member.
Cellular Phone Cost Allocation
Region One ESC employees are el- igible to receive a monthly Cellular Phone allocation if eligibility re- quirements are met.
Death Bene ts
While employed by Region One ESC, should an employee pass away, the employee’s designated bene ciary shall be entitled to receive a lump sum payment for the employee’s accrued, but unpaid, sick or personal leave with a monetary cap of $40,000.
Dependent Care
Quality childcare is a top priority for parents of young children. To help meet the costs of childcare, a
Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account is available to employees which allows you to set aside pre- tax dollars to help pay for quali ed dependent care expenses. Funds can be used to care for a quali ed child or adult, but are necessary to allow you or your spouse to work or attend school on a full-time basis. Funds allocated to a Dependent Care FSA must be used during the plan year or will be forfeited.
