Region One ESC provides a number of opportunities to purchase insurance coverages to give you piece of mind for you and your family. To help defray some of the cost of the insurance products, Region One makes an employer contribution for each sta  member to go toward the purchase of insurance products. Each year a Wellness/Bene ts Fair is held to give employees the opportunity to learn about the coverages available to them and to speak with product representatives. At this time, other local organizations are on hand to share information about wellness, healthcare, and other assorted goodies!
Accident Insurance
Accident insurance is designed to supplement your medical insurance coverage by covering indirect costs that can arise with a serious, or a not-so-serious, injury. Accident coverage is low cost protection available to you and your family without evidence of insurability.
AD&D
AccidentalDeath&Dismemberment is life insurance coverage that pays a death bene t to the bene ciary, should death occur due to a covered accident. Dismemberment bene ts are paid to you, according to the bene t level you select, if accidentally dismembered.
Basic Life
Basic life is insurance coverage provided to you by your employer. It provides a cash death bene t to your bene ciary upon your death to help meet a variety of  nancial needs.
Cancer Insurance
Cancer insurance o ers you and your family supplemental insurance protection in the event you or a covered family member is diagnosed with cancer. Bene ts are paid to you to help with medical and non- medical expenses associated with cancer treatment.
Critical Illness
Critical illness insurance is designed to supplement your medical and disability coverage easing the  nancial impacts by covering some of your additional expenses. It provides a bene t payable directly to the insured, unless otherwise assigned, upon diagnosis of a covered condition or event.
Dental Insurance
Dental insurance is a coverage helps defray the costs of dental care. It insures against the expense of treatment and routine care, dental disease and accidents to your teeth.
Disability Insurance
Disability insurance protects one of your most valuable assets, your ability to earn a living.  is insurance will replace a portion of your income in the event that you become physically unable to work due to a sickness or injury.
Heart and Stroke
Heart Attack and Stroke insurance is designed to supplement your medical coverage easing the  nancial impacts by covering some of the additional expenses associated with a heart attack, stroke or coronary artery disease. It provides cash bene ts paid directly to you according to the schedule of bene ts listed in the policy.
Medical Insurance
Major medical insurance provides bene ts for a broad range of medical expenses that may be incurred either on an inpatient or outpatient basis.
Long Term Care
Long Term Care insurance helps provide for the cost of long-term care. Bene ts are typically triggered when unable to perform two of the basic activities of daily living (ADL’s) such as dressing, bathing, eating, toileting, continence, transferring and walking.
TRS Pension
TRS retirees who are enrolled in TRS-Care (retiree health insurance program) and employees
who are not contributing TRS members, who are regularly scheduled to work less than 10 hours per week, are not eligible to participate in TRS-Active Care.
Vision Insurance
Vision insurance is a type of health coverage to insure for services rendered by eye care professionals. It provides coverage for routine eye examinations and may cover all or part of the costs associated with contact lenses, eyeglasses and vision correction depending on the plan.
Voluntary Group Life
Voluntary Group Term Life is one of the most inexpensive ways to purchase life insurance. It’s o ered through the convenience of payroll deduction. Coverage is typically available to You, Your Spouse and Dependent Children. You have the freedom to select an amount of life insurance coverage you need to help protect the well-being of your family.
