Center?
The Region One Education Service Center is part of a statewide system of education service centers located strategically throughout the state
to serve and support independent school districts and charter school districts of their designated region. We proudly serve the seven county area of South Texas including Cameron County, Hidalgo County, Jim Hogg County, Starr County, Webb County, Willacy County, and Zapata County. As an education service center, working as a liaison between the 37 school districts and 10 charter school systems in our region and the Texas Education Agency.
What we do at Region One is a team e ort-every single individual plays a vital role to help us achieve our goal of assisting school districts in improving student performance; enabling school districts to operate more e ciently and economically; and implementing initiatives assigned by the legislature or commissioner. Our sta , and the experts we recruit to join our team, are one of our top priorities; we provide a comfortable and welcoming workspace, o er competitive salaries with compensation for advanced degrees, and o er a number of bene ts to ensure that our sta members care for themselves and their respective families.
