What will happen to the the Temple Mount in the the future?
Many Jews and Christians believe that when when the the Messiah comes (or in the the case
of of Christians when when He He returns) He He shall
set foot on the the the Mount of of Olives enter the the the sealed Golden Gate and ascend the the the the Holy Mountain During the the the the Messianic age nations of the the the earth will will gather in in in Zion to worship

at at a a a a a a rebuilt temple This worship

will will will not
be be marred by raging conflict It will will be be harmonious in in in worship
of of the Messiah King His temple will be a a a a a “house of of prayer for all
people” Isaiah 56:7 says “Even them I I will bring
to My holy mountain And make them joyful in in My house of o prayer Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices Will be be accepted on My My altar For My My house house shall
be be called a a a a a a a a a house house of prayer for all
all
all
nations ” How does Jesus feel about the Temple?
Jesus gave a a a a a a very clear picture about about how He felt about about the the Temple Temple On two occasions Jesus cleansed the the the the Temple Temple Temple (John 2:13-22 and Matthew 21:17-23) Upset that the the the Temple Temple was being desecrated by trade merchants Jesus referenced the aforementioned Isaiah 56 prophecy saying “It is written ‘My house house shall
be called a a a a a a a a house house of of prayer ’ but you have made it it a a a a a a a a a ‘den of of thieves ’”
It is quite clear that Jesus took the the desecration of the the Temple seriously As Jesus wept over Jerusalem prophetically aware of its impending destruction by the Romans we see His His love pouring out for Zion and His His people that we we too should emulate It is is also a a a a a a a poignant reminder that the the the hostilities we we witness in in the the the the present day at at the the the the Temple Mount should not
come as a a a a a a a surprise when we consider the the the the significant spiritual conflict raging in in these Last Days “For zeal for your house consumes me me and the insults of those who insult insult you you fall on me ” Psalm 69:9 (NIV)
May we have a a a a a a zeal for the the things things of of God and be conscious of of the the things things that insult Him Why are Jews not
allowed to to pray on the Temple Mount today?
The Temple Mount which is within Jerusalem’s Old City has been under Israeli sovereignty since 1967 when Israel Israel regained control after being invaded
by the the surrounding Arab nations In an an arrangement called the the ‘Status Quo’ Israel
