Hablar de impedimentos es hablar sobre una “tela de araña”, mientras los unos piensan que la vida es dura y que no pueden ya que su

Su pasión por el trabajo artesanal le permite pintar de manera muy precisa las figuras de yeso que representan símbolos reli- giosos como la virgen María entre otros, trabajo que hace con total dedicación a pesar de que sus ma- nos ya no están aptas para agarrar un pincel con total normalidad, además de que por su condición de mantenerse sentada en una silla de rueda no le permite tener la misma flexibilidad que tendría cual- quier persona en condiciones “normal”.

To talk about impediments is to talk about a “spider web”, while some think that life is hard and that they cannot go on because their impedi-
ment does not allow them to, Elsa Cleves shows us the opposite.
Through her artisan work, her community work and the dedication she carries out her cho- res, she shows us that everything is a matter of at-
titude with which each one of us sees life. Her pas- sion for craft works, allows her to paint very precisely the plaster figures that represent religious symbols such as the Virgin Mary among others; works that she does with total dedication; even though, her hands are no longer able to grab a brush with total normality, in addition to being able to remain seated in a wheelchair because of her condition, it does not allow her to have the same flexibility as any person in “normal” conditions.
You only need to spend a couple of hours with Elsa Cleves and you will understand that her ability to transmit positive energy and joy will make
you think to see life differently from what you see it now. Dare to have a different attitude to the different situations of life and you will be contributing to a be- tter future for everyone and giving your life a greater personal and emotional value.
