AVES LATINOAMERICANAS
Un paradisiaco concierto que solo se disfruta en la naturaleza.
El continente Latinoamericano nos muestra una esplendorosa gama de colores y canti- cos que deleitan nuestra vista y oídos cada vez que
tenemos la oportunidad de apreciar estas hermosas aves que abundan sus bosques. Entre ellas encon- tramos el Hornero común, el Flamenco, el Tucán, el Cóndor, el Palmchat, el Quetzal, el Águila, el Carpin- tero, el Turpial, la Guacamaya entre otros que coha- bitan en esta habita.
Algunas de estas aves, son símbolos naciona- les tal es el caso del Quetzal Centroamerica- no la cual es una subespecie de ave perteneciente
a la familia pantropical Trogonidae, y que ha servido para dar el nombre a la monedad Guatemalteca la cual es denominada Quetzal.

The Latin American continent shows us a splen- did range of colors and songs that delight the sight and hearing every time we have the opportunity
to appreciate these beautiful birds that are abundant in the forests. Among them we find the common Hor- nero, Flamenco, Toucan, Condor, Palmchat, Quetzal, Eagle, Carpenter, Turpial, the Macaw and other birds living in that habitat.
Some of these birds are national symbols, such as the case of the Central American Quetzal which is a subspecies of a bird belonging to
the Trogonidae Pantropical family, which has served to give the name to the Guatemalan currency, called the Quetzal.
