I've loved Halloween and spooky things in general
ever since I was a kid.
I've been an artist most of my life, and more currently, I’ve been a CG 3D modeler for the last 15 years. My CG work is brokered online through one of the biggest 3D content websites on the internet.
A few years ago I was a member of the local artist's guild, so I submitted a zombie I created into the local art show on a whim. To my surprise, it won the Best of Show! From there, I went on to create several of these zombies, sometimes selling them at local craft fairs. My wife, Karen, and I make original handmade copper, silver and bronze jewelry and set up at various local events, as well as sell on our Etsy pages.
Not long after the art show, I got the opportunity to haunt an old abandoned theme park for a Halloween fundraiser to help restore the property. I made all sorts of decorations, including an entire cemetery, and motorized ghosts and ghouls. Well, the event turned out to be an epic fail, so we took everything down and left early, but we had all these decorations and it felt like a huge waste not to use them somehow.
