6.4 COMPANY VEHICLES
The company vehicle remains the property of the Company at all times. The company reserves the
right to change the vehicle without notice. The company reserves the right to commandeer the
vehicle in exceptional circumstances as deemed necessary by a Company Director.

Employees must exercise reasonable care when driving. Company vehicles should be maintained in a
clean and roadworthy condition and in good operating order. Any defects in the vehicle should be
notified immediately to the relevant Company Director or manager and anything in urgent need of
repair has to be taken care of immediately, especially where safety could be compromised.

You are required to maintain a high standard of cleanliness of the vehicle, both inside and outside.

                   • Windscreens/rear windows should be free from clutter to aid efficient demisting of
windscreen and optimal view of the road.
                   • Dashboard and cab area should be kept clean and free of loose items.
                   • If eating in the vehicle, leftovers, wrappers and containers should be disposed of
immediately in a suitable manner. NEVER EAT AND DRIVE AT THE SAME TIME.

Further information and guidance on best practice regarding driving a vehicle for work can be found
