Surgical Procedures
Neck Lift (Submentoplasty)
One of the rst signs of aging is seen in the neck in the form of a double chin or sagging skin. A
neck lift includes liposuction of the chin and neck and tightening of the neck muscles. This is per-
formed through a small incision underneath the chin. For patients with excess skin and jowling this
procedure can be combined with a facelift for improved, long-lasting results.
Brow Lift
As we age and gravity plays its part, the skin on the forehead wrinkles and sags and the brow
droops into a horizontal position, which can make a person appear grumpy, sad or tired. A brow lift
refreshes the upper third of the face by tightening the soft tissues of the forehead, which in turn
repositions the upper eyelids and eyebrows as well. Forehead wrinkles and furrows between the
brows are diminished and the face appears more youthful and alert.
Eye Surgery (Blepharoplasty)
This procedure, involving small incisions in the creases of the eye, removes and tightens the sagging
skin around the eyes resulting in a fresher more youthful look. This can involve the upper eyelid,
lower eyelid, or both. Recovery time is minimal and results are long-lasting.
Nose Surgery (Rhinoplasty)
Some people are unhappy with the nose they were born with, for others, aging has changed the
way it looks and, for some, an injury may have distorted the nose. In many cases, there is the addi-
tional goal of breathing easier. It’s almost impossible to hide your nose and insecurity over how it
looks can have a big impact on your quality of life. Whatever your reason for wanting a change,
rhinoplasty, or nose surgery, is a popular procedure with a host of benets.
