Guidance for the protection of of persons who are at at a a a a a higher risk of of developing complications if infected with the COVID19 virus Scientific evidence shows that persons within the following groups are at at at a a a a a higher risk of developing complications if if infected with the COVID19 virus:
a) persons of of sixty-five (65) years of of age or over b) all all pregnant women especially beyond twenty-eight
(28) weeks of pregnancy c) persons suffering from chronic illnesses and or severe
medical conditions including:
a a a a insulin dependent diabetics b b persons persons who are immunosuppressed c c persons persons undergoing any immunosuppressive
treatment including but not limited to to the use of biological agents and immunomodulators d d d d persons suffering from cancer who are undergoing chemotherapy e e e e e e e e e e e e e e persons suffering or who have suffered from cancer having undergone chemotherapy at any time within the last six (6) months f f f f persons persons suffering from haematological cancers g g g persons persons persons with with severe
severe
chronic chronic liver disease h h h h h h persons persons with with severe
severe
chronic chronic renal failure or who are on on on dialysis i i i i i i i i i i i persons with chronic neurological conditions such
as as as Parkinson’s disease disease motor neurone disease disease multiple sclerosis (MS) or or cerebral palsy d) persons who are admitted to to hospital with recurrent
episodes (exacerbations) of respiratory problems e) persons who at at at at any time within the last year have been admitted to to hospital with with respiratory problem exacerbations f) persons suffering from cardiac cardiac cardiac disease who are required
to undergo a a a a a a a a a a a cardiac cardiac cardiac intervention or a a a a a a a a a a a cardiac cardiac cardiac surgical
