4 Mandatory Transitioning – Standards for Musicians and and and Orchestras11
The following standards are issued under the the Public Health Act Chapter 465 of of the the Laws of of Malta Standards to be observed by musicians and and orchestras All orchestras bands musical ensembles and and and groups of musicians and and and shall:
1 1 Advise musicians not to to attend for for rehearsals or or or or performances if they are experiencing any any potential COVID-19
symptoms or or or or or or have been in in in in in close contact contact with any any known cases of of of COVID19 2 2 Keep records of of of the the contact contact information (name and a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a phone number) of of of individuals attending rehearsals/performances for for for for 28 days after the the rehearsal/performance 3 Provide adequate and and and and easily accessible hand hand sanitisers with an an an an an an an an an appropriate 70% alcohol handrub on on on entry into the the the area where the the the rehearsal/performance is is is being held and and and and and ensure that all persons sanitise their hands on on entering 4 4 Ensure that musicians maintain social distancing throughout rehearsals and and performances whenever possible not not playing face-to-face with not not more than one (1) musician musician per per four (4) square metres metres metres metres floor area a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a distance distance of of of at at least least two two (2) metres metres metres metres from from each other (two and and a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a half (2 (2 5) metres metres metres metres in in in case of of of woodwind instruments) and and a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a distance distance of of of at at least least four (4) metres metres metres metres from from the the audience 5 Ensure that musicians avoid avoid physical contact with each other frequently sanitise their hands and and and and musical instruments practice respiratory etiquette and and and and and avoid avoid touching eyes nose and and and and and mouth with unwashed hands 6 Where possible practise and and perform perform outdoors 7 When practising or or or or or or or performing indoors spaces utilised must be well-ventilated with fresh air 8 Ensure Ensure that that musicians do do do not share musical equipment microphones scores or or or or or or or or other documents 9
