Rome - Monsumanno Terme - Florence Portofino - Milan
Portofino 2 days
Is a classic everyone-must-go-there-once holiday
destination. No new houses have been built since
1935, making Portoino a gem of such shimmering
polish that over the years it has dazzled everyone from Clark Gable to Grace Kelly, Greta Garbo and
Ingrid Bergman. This typical Ligurian ishing village
has pretty little colored houses dotted all around the
harbor and main square. In spite of its notoriety, Por- toino still maintains today the atmosphere of ancient
maritime traditions, craftsmanship, colors and per- fumes, that still today captivates illustrious travelers enchanted by its beauty.
The Cinque Terre is a little corner of Liguria where generations have worked to create this monument in landscape architecture, represented by the steep ter- races sloping down the sea and picturesque ishing villages. Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore are the ive villages that give this re- gion its name, each with its own historical features.
Milan 2 days
Milan is the largest city in northern Italy and the
chief commercial and industrial centre in Italy. A multicultural city geared towards work, Milan is also a beautiful city with many monuments and stylish buildings of historical and artistic impor- tance such as Castello Sforzesco, the gothic cathedral (Duomo), Church of Santa Maria delle Grazie which contains Leonardo’s Last Sup- per, the Brera Palace displaying the city’s chief art collection and the opera house of La Scala. Milan is a young metropolis with many bars, restaurants and nightclubs and plenty of nice shops.
The Italian capital of Fashion, Milan is the scene of many fashion shows and, if your wallet can afford it, shopping in via Montenapoleone is an experience not to bemissed!
