The year of events have wrapped up for the Chamber and what a year it was, new annual events like the Outdoor Show
and Connect 4 Success will be returning in 2024 along with 3rd Annual Business Awards and of Course our family
community event the Santa Claus Parade.

The new year will see some changes for the Chamber, new events, along with a milestone celebration. Watch our social
media as we will be sharing information and of course it will be published here in the News On 7.

If you are a retired business and a former member of the Madoc & District Chamber of Commerce, we would like to ask if
you can share any pictures or information over the years and if you could drop off or email a digital copy to the Chamber
office if would be greatly appreciated. We are looking to use these in our upcoming milestone celebration. Yes, the
Chamber will be celebrating 45 years in the communities of Central Hastings in 2024.

Membership renewals, along with Strategic Plan for 2024-2025 will be sent out first week of January along with a
calendar of events.

Members can drop into the Chamber on December 14th for an Christmas Gathering and enjoy some refreshments and
treats along with some great networking.

The Chamber will be closed from December 15th to Dec 31st to have a much needed break. Office will open January 2nd
of the new year.

MAKING YOUR BED EVERYDAY - WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT
If you make your bed every morning, you have accomplished the first task of the day, with a small sense of PRIDE and it
will encourage you to do another task. And Another…and another.
By the end of the day that one task completed, will turn into MANY task COMPLETED. Making you bed will also reinforce
the fact that the little things in LIFE matter.
If you can’t do the little things right, you will never be able to do the BIG things right. And if by chance you have a
miserable day you will come home to a bed that is made. That YOU made!
And a made bed gives you the ENCOURAGEMENT that tomorrow will be better. So, if you want to change the world;
start off by making your bed.
