LIONS CLUB OF LAND O'LAKES

The Lions Club of Land O’Lakes is preparing to do a Harvest Fest in October.
We are doing a “Call Out” as there are a few things we are looking for to make
this even a success.
More details of the event will be shared shortly! For now please save this date
on your calendars.. OCTOBER 9, 2021
We are looking for some Homemade preservative vendors. If you have
preservatives to sell please contact Lion Debbie. We are having a baked bean
contest - so if you know someone out there that makes “the best” baked beans,
please let us know so we can contact them or have them contact us.
We need to decorate the area. We are looking for 12 bales of hay, decorative
corn stalks and donation of pumpkins to be carved.

"A Service activity touching the hearts of many was the Club’s BBQ for First
Responders. The Club received many of the food stuffs through donations from local
businesses. The Club cannot express their gratitude to our community for their
support to this event. During this event, the Club donated a cheque for $300.00 (of
which was increased with personal donations) to Boots On the Ground. This amazing
organization offers peer assistance 24/7 to all First Responders in dealing with the
emotional baggage of dealing with all they do day in and day out. This organization is
in Ontario only. Boots On the Ground has become very special to the Lions Club of
Land O’Lakes. The club will be there for them as they are there for all our First
Responders!"
