EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY - FULL-TIME EQUIPMENT OPERATOR
The Municipality of Marmora and Lake Transportation Services Department invites applications for the full-time position
of: Full-Time Equipment Operator

POSITION SUMMARY
The Municipality of Marmora and Lake is seeking One (1) hardworking, motivated team players to work in the Public
Works Department-Transportation Services as equipment operator.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Minimum “D” Driver License with “Z” Endorsement and acceptable driving record. AZ preferred.
A minimum one full winter control season driving experience operating a tandem, single, or tri-axle plow truck with
wing and sander (must be current, i.e., within the last five years.).
Ability to operate equipment safely and competently such as grader, loader, backhoe, tractor, and other equipment.
Mechanical aptitude to perform a wide variety of tasks relating to equipment maintenance, operation, and repairs.
Traffic Control Training
Required to work a 40-hour work week.
Able to be on call weekends and public holidays.

Contractor(s) to participate in their bidding process for the
supply, treatment and stockpiling of winter sand at the following
locations in the Municipality of Marmora and Lake:

Location 1: 2054 North Steenburg Lake Road, Lake Township
Location 2: 70 O’Brien Street, Deloro
Location 3: 11 Fidlar Glen Road, Marmora
SHORT-TERM ACCOMMODATION INFORMATION
Short-term accommodations (Airbnb, Vrbo, cottage Bid packages can be picked up at:
rentals, etc.) are not licensed within the Municipality of Marmora and Lake
