Spring has sprung and so the community events are starting for the spring and summer
seasons. The Chamber will be hosting their first Young Entrepreneurs Trade Show on
May 18th at the Kiwanis Hall. This is a great opportunity for our youth to showcase
their business venture. Watch for details as they roll out this coming.

With the Outdoor Show coming up in June, this event will be a family fun weekend with
lots to do and see. Beaver Tails is joining us, along with Dr. Buck’s Sweets, a dunk tank
and so much more.
This year, the Chamber has partnered up with Marmora
and Lake Municipality to bring business owners an
opportunity to advertise in the News On 7 and on a digital

On March 20th, the Chamber held its 45th AGM and a huge
shout out to all the members who showed up and enjoyed a
wonderful meal prepared by A&T Katering and a huge
Thank You to Sandi Ramsey from Centre for Workforce
Development for sharing the updated plan and what is
happening in the labour workforce. Thank you to all the
sponsors for the AGM: Township of Madoc, Hidden
Goldmine, Hunter Ford, Actinolite Graphics and Gordino’s.

Coming up in July & August we will be hosting our first
Summer Breakfast Series for ALL BUSINESS OWNERS in
Central Hastings. This event will be held in July and August,
watch for the details.
