Unusual business inquiries were the order of the day in London. Many of them landed straight in the bin. But from time to time, there were others: inquiries which promised contacts with the big wide world - there, where famous names were at home. One day, out of the blue I received a call from a certain Michael Milken, known in the Financial World of the time as a "financial juggler" and as the champion for border line deals. An inventor of new financial instruments, that shook the Market.
I was surprised.
"Hi, this is Michael Milken from Drexel, I'd like to speak to Harry Weyrauch .."
"This is Harry speaking, what can I do for you?"
"I wonder Whether you find the time to meet me for lunch today at the Riz Hotel I have an idea, that might interest you."
"Sure-would 01.00 pm suit you?
