Sarah began volunteering with Take the Reins, a therapeutic horse riding center, over 3 years ago. During that time, she was offered an opportunity to not only care for the horses but also ride them. This in turn, led to her work with Crossroads Natural Horsemanship. These opportunities have fulfilled the first steps towards my long term goals of owning and riding horses. These two horse facilities have furthered her understanding of special needs children and horse training for special needs. She is inspired to continue this path as she attains her nursing degree.
Lilith started a band that has recorded an original CD. She has also booked and played many shows in Tennessee and North Carolina. She has been accepted to 2 colleges so far, both of which she plans on attending for music.
As a student and a person, Ashley has always been wired to live her life above and beyond. Every goal she creates for herself she strives not only to achieve but to exceed. A natural born leader, she finds myself constantly making sound decisions and offering up welcomed advice to her peers. Her desire to lead, push herself, and make a difference has and will continue to take her far in life and leave those she encounters changed for the better.
