Freedom and flexibility guides the culture of HLA. What should we do and how should we act if its not in the handbook and when no one’s around? First, use good judgment in all things. Next, think about HLA,
other staff, our families and Christ.
At the heart of HLA is family - our staff and their families and our HLA families. “Your impact should
be felt, if you are not here people should feel it.”
HLA provides a relaxed culture that we, as staff, need to protect. We need to establish relationships and be able to set examples of what is acceptable and what is
expected. Be a part of the team, always looking out for what is best for HLA and for other team members.
Let your conscience guide you. Speak words of encouragement, share stories, laugh together.
