Engineering CSR activity - St. Pauls Special School Montenotte, Cork
COVID-19 Impact:
We have a mix of people working both on site and off site at
the moment and as mentioned previously, we have had to learn to work in and creative ways. The team have supported social distancing on site in a number of ways such as redesign of the cleanrooms to facilitate social distancing, developing applications to monitor the number of people on site, and introducing new technologies to site such as smart glasses. In fact, the DePuy Cork Project team used smart glasses recently to assist with the FAT of two new Furnaces.
Our social gatherings have also gone virtual, with a number of online quizzes – us engineers love a good quiz!
We also managed to continue to engage in the CSR activity in August with a multiple small groups carrying out work in St. Pauls Special School Montenotte, Cork who are the nominated charity for the site this year.
