Leadership Jefferson Class XIII
The Leadership Jefferson Class traveled to Charleston to see the
inner workings of government on the legislative level. The class had
an opportunity to see a House Floor Session, Senate Floor Session,
tour the History and Culture Center, and attended a reception held
at the WV Chamber. As well as meeting with guest speakers who
talked about their roles; Delegate Paul Espinosa, Majority Whip;
Carolyn Long, Chancellor-Higher Education Policy Commission; J.B.
McCusker, Auditor; Patrick Morrisey, Attorney General; Dr. Steven
Paine, State Superintendent; Senator Patricia Rucker; Josh Stowers,
Assistant Treasurer; Sarah Tucker, Chancellor-Community &
Technical College System; Senator John Unger, and Mac Warner,
Secretary of State. Thank you to Skinner Law Firm for hosting
dinner with the legislators.
