preaching, that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will
be saved;

Luke 9:23-25
And He was saying to them all, "If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross daily and follow
Me. "For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake, he is the one who will save it.
"For what is a man profited if he gains the whole world, and loses or forfeits himself?

John 10:7-10 (NASB)
So Jesus said to them again, "Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. "All who came before Me are thieves and rob-
bers, but the sheep did not hear them. "I am the door; if anyone enters through Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and
find pasture. "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.

Summary  We are alienated from God, and have a temporal existence.
 Your creator God in Christ wants to be your God!
 Man must realize he must lose his life as he knows it.
 No mind can conceive what God has for them.

For mankind to come back to God one must realize we have a bent to want to be our own God and go our own way. This has caused
our alienation from God. To reverse this is we must acknowledge God is God and we are not, making Christ Lord of your life and un-
derstanding Christ is son of the living God. Making Christ the Lord of our lives means we seek to hand our lives, desires and ways into
His hands, so he can prove his validity and goodness as God. Christ however has given us the freedom to be and will not force us to
come back to Him. It can be summed up in this statement.

GOD IN CHRIST CALLS US TO HAND OVER ALL THAT WE ARE, FOR ALL
THAT HE IS FOR ALL WE WERE MEANT BE!

What does God promise if we make God our God and Christ Lord of our life?
