Officers from 10th District attend 024’s winter party
A group of female officers in the 10th District had some fun toying with kids in the community.
On Feb. 19, four officers from 010 had the chance to attend the 24th District’s Winter Welcome Party at Pottawattomie Park. While there, they were able to give out slime-making lab kits and stuffed animals to families in need.
It was one of those occasions for members not only to give back, but also to get in on some of the action. Two officers even
offered a little jump-rope demo to the students.
They also had the chance to help the 24th District provide COVID-19 testing to members of the community and hand out
free dinner.
The officers said some of their favorite moments included
playing soccer with the students who attended and getting to know their families.
