A Thank-You Note on behalf of a lost brother
On Nov. 14, 2016, friends, family and co-workers gathered together to celebrate the life of Chicago Police Officer Charles “Chuck” Barango, who was tragically taken from us in an off-duty traffic accident.
The event was a success on many levels!
FOP Hall, where the event was held, was bursting with all who came to celebrate. Everyone enjoyed the music performed by “Over the Side Music” and also the musical stylings of DJ Angel Lopez.
Many Chicagoland food establishments were extreme in their generosity, and everyone enjoyed the va- rieties of food that were donated. In addition, there was an endless number of gift baskets that were made available by the incredible amount of contributions through several area businesses. The extreme generosi- ty and outpouring of love was overwhelming.
It was through each and every one of your donations, your time and your effort that made this event a complete success and an incredible tribute to a family member, friend and brother – Chuck Barango.
The members of the committee would like to extend our gratitude to everyone who participated in mak- ing this event a huge success.
