As a token of appreciation, Easter Seals Metropolitan Chicago honored the FOP at its 2015 Gala on Nov. 7 at the Chicago Marriott Downtown.
Easter Seals proudly recognized the following individuals on behalf of all members and administrators of the FOP: Chicago Lodge 7 President Dean C. Angelo, Sr.; Trooper Lodge 41 President Joe Moon; FOP Grand Lodge Chairman Rocky Nowaczyk, who also serves as the National Easter Seals Treasurer and as Chairman of the National FOP Easter Seals Committee; Cook County Sheriff’s Police Lodge 4 Treasurer Guy Santillo; and Illinois State FOP President Keith Turney.
The Fraternal Order of Police and Easter Seals share a rich 40-year history that evolved during a conference in Tennessee when a motion was made to have Easter Seals named the organization’s national charity.
