Words of encouragement from a fan of Chicago Police Officers
 n BY MITCHELL KRUGEL
Perhaps the only event in Chicago drawing more attention and analysis than the COVID-19 pandemic is ESPN’s presentation of “The Last Dance.”
Now, it might be too much hyperbole to de- scribe Chicago Police Officers’ response to the pandemic with similar words being accorded to Michael Jordan as the city reminisces about his greatness through this 10-part documentary. But Tony Marino doesn’t necessarily think so.
Marino has become intimate with the work of Chicago Police Officers. His auto dealership on the city’s north side – Marino Chrysler Jeep Dodge – has provided decades of support to law enforcement, and he wanted to echo some dis-
tinct words of appreciation for the way Chi- cago Police Officers are standing even taller than usual.
“The mental fortitude day in and day out to never stop,” Marino begins, directing his praise at Chicago coppers rather than MJ. “Courage...resilience...I could go on and on. What can I say about them being out on the front lines, helping everybody and serving in this time of uncertainty? Not only did they do this before, but now it’s another level of concern with their families at home while they are at work. It’s incredible that they can get up and do it every day.”

Add in streaming, gaming and virtual private networks (VPN) and providers like Verizon have become essential to rising above the current state of the world. Being able to provide the network reliability and communication stability to the public sector – and especially first responders – has been a labor of love for Verizon.
“It has given us a great sense of pride and purpose being able to serve those on the front lines fighting this crisis,” Wood re- ports. “We are motivated to go above and beyond our respon- sibilities as an organization and as individuals to engage with
