Every fall I attend the Photo to Finish (Design) Seminar at Rol Publications. Awhile back as I walked into the studio, I looked down and saw some leaves and persimmons on the ground. I combined these with a pumpkin I had bought at a local farmer’s market and created this painting. Using fall colors brings me the greatest pleasure, making this one of my favorite paintings. Remember as the seasons turn from summer to fall, you will find mostly orange, yellow, red and green. These objects have a combination of orange and green values.
