DROP SHADOWS
Step 1: Load a wet no. 4 with a touch of Paynes Grey and mix to an inky consistency. Test the color on a scrap of paper to ensure it’s not too dark. If it’s too dark, add more water to the mix. Refer to the finished project. Float color under some of the bottom petals and beside the ginkgo leaves and stems.
Step 2: Load a damp liner brush or no. 2 rigger and paint cast shadows beside the twigs; use the #4 to paint cast shadows under the berries.
FINISHING
Let everything dry and paint over the entire surface with DecoArt Soft Touch Varnish or varnish of choice. Hang with your favorite ribbon or twine.
