I’ve always loved the industrious little Carolina Wren (Thryothorus ludovicianus) who I’ve seen build soft, moss-lined domed nests in ferns, berry baskets, and old boots. They never seem to rest, and even while sitting “still,” they constantly strike different poses. I hope you’ll enjoy painting this little bird in one of my favorite poses!
