THE SEPTEMBER PAINT–IN WAS UNUSUAL AND DELIGHTFUL! – LET IT BE TOLED OF PRESCOTT, ARIZONA
The unusual part about the September paint–in was that our teacher, Bev, became ill and wasn’t able to teach the class. Thankfully, she is now back to normal. Pat so graciously offered to teach the paint–in and we asked Bev to send the instructions via mail to Jody’s iPad.
So, with the iPad, ladybug and projector in front of her, Pat very successfully managed to read the instructions for the first time and teach it to us in attendance and on Zoom.
At times, she said she didn’t understand the instructions and said, oh heck, we’ll do it another way! It really was an enjoyable class even with the unusual circumstances. Thank you Pat for being such a good sport!

LUNCH BOX AUCTION – LET IT BE TOLED OF PRESCOTT, ARIZONA
The lunch box auction is always so much fun! Due to Covid, we did not have the lunch part of the auction. Everyone always paints something unique, and this year was no
exception: we got to take home a special treasure painted by a fellow artist. Thank you to all who participated in this year’s fundraiser for the club.

MEALS ON WHEELS – BLUEBONNET OF TARRANT COUNTY, TEXAS
Bluebonnet Decorative Painters was honored by Meals on Wheels, Inc. of Tarrant County, Texas for twenty-five years of providing painted ornaments for homebound citizens at Christmas.
“There are not enough words to describe how amazed and inspired we are by your dedication, compassion and generosity.” In appreciation an inscribed brick has been placed as a permanent part of the entrance pathway welcoming visitors.
For chapter members of Bluebonnet, painting the ornaments has become a July tradition celebrated with an “indoor picnic” as we paint over one
hundred ornaments.
