RCL’s recruitment initiative is a centrally created scalable strategy designed specifically to meet the hiring needs of each banner. With the help of our Talent Acquisition team, we will secure our ability to deliver an exceptional customer experience through hiring top talent and ensuring that workforce levels are always achieved.
Now that Store Managers are able to request their own job postings for their particular store, as well as, receive resumes directly in-store, you will be able to determine the needs of your store for the holiday season by sending the Talent Acquisition team at fieldjobs@reitmans.com specific requests for Fashion Associates, Stock/Inventory Associates or Management level roles, etc.

  Hiring seasonal employees
First is the process of how to attract new and amazing talent for your store:
• SIGNAGE: The Marketing team will send you signage that you can place in your window letting potential candidates know that you’re hiring for the holidays.
• SHOP THE MALL: The mall is a great place to find talent. Look out for those individuals who are excellent at what they do and are looking for a change of scenery and environment in their career.
• REFERRAL PROGRAM: The Employee Referral Program is an excellent way to recruit and build your talent pipeline so be sure to remind your team in order to leverage your network.
• PARTNERSHIP: Don’t hesitate to partner with you nearest RCL stores to share your talent pool and/or to inform them of your needs.
• SOCIAL MEDIA: This is a great tool to use when looking for potential candidates. Our Talent Acquisition relies on Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn to spread the word that your store is hiring for the holidays.
• WEBSITE: Our Talent Acquisition makes use of career websites like indeed.com or monster.ca as well as your mall website to post any openings in your store.
