Get into the holiday spirit this season with Dior. This year, artist Pietro Ruffo 34 worked with the house to create a magical landscape of midnight starry skies reminiscent of the first snowfall. This stunning design is featured on a myriad
of Christmas offerings this season including a gift box with three scented candles, a pencil box that contains 10 miniature perfume bottles, and an advent calendar designed in the shape of a house, full of mini and full-sized bottles of perfume, all from La Collection Privée. Each gift in the collection is finished with a coloured cotton tie, and stamped with the house seal, and makes the perfect gift for a special loved one.

Raise a Glass
From Checkmate Winery comes another luxurious Merlot from British Columbia’s Okanagan Valley. The 2018 blend, End Game, is handpicked and sorted in French oak barrels to age for 21 months. This complex palate hits notes of dark cherry, raspberry, chocolate, and spice with a long, vibrant finish. Pour a glass to unwind after a long day, or pair it with roasted vegetables or lean meat.

Studio GdB is run by Gilles de Brock and Jaap Giesen, two friends
and former graphic designers who became obsessed with ceramic tiles. Without much experience, they set out to create a new way of creating ceramic tiles that would allow them the creative expression they felt was missing in the industry. The duo created their own custom digital printer that allows them to digitally control the application of liquid glazes on the tile and started making their own recipes for colours. The results are incredibly unique, customizable tiles created in a range of bold colours, psychedelic designs, and seventies-esque patterns that almost feel handmade.
