    BMW M3/M4
Sneaker kingpin Ronnie Fieg has given the new BMW M cars his blessing with a limited-edition Kith M4. The M3 made the M division, so a new one is a big deal. For the first time, all-wheel drive is optional. And, praise be to the driving gods, BMW’s twin-turbo straight-six returns with even more power — 473 or 503 hp.
  AUDI E-TRON GT
Audi’s new electric flagship — its third electric vehicle available in Canada — arrives this summer, offering an estimated 488 km of range. The top-dog RS E-Tron GT churns out 580 hp from two electric motors. The numbers are impressive, but this car had us as soon as we laid eyes on it. Audi’s chief designer, Marc Lichte, says the new E-Tron GT is the most attrac- tive car he’s ever drawn.
    MERCEDES-BENZ S-CLASS
The latest all-new S-Class is the car Tony Stark wishes he’d made. Its 2-D dashboard instruments look 3-D thanks to eye-tracking technology. The heads-up display is like an augmented reality screen. The OLED displays are gorgeous. The dashboard looks as smart as a pinstripe suit and the exterior metalwork appears sculpted, not simply styled. The combined institutional might of Mercedes-Benz has thrown a century of knowhow into its new flagship, and it’s a sight to behold.

AND NOW FOR SOMETHING COMPLETELY ELECTRIC While the S-Class has been flying the flag for Mercedes-Benz since 1972, change is afoot. Mercedes is about to launch an all-electric flagship luxury sedan called the EQS. It’s not replacing the S-Class, at least not yet; the two cars will be like co-flagships for the brand. No doubt we will look back on this as a changing of the guard, when electric and gasoline cars coexisted.
