HOW TO USE THIS BOOK:

The Rules & Regulations portion of this book was prepared from the
official California State publications applicable to the agricultural pest
control field.
This book is an overview of the topics which may be covered on the
test. While it is as complete as possible as of the date of printing, it is
not intended to be an all-inclusive guide.
The text has been color-coded to assist the reader in locating portions
that are directly associated with a particular portion of pest control.
The text printed in black is always for QAL & QAC, and should
be carefully read by EVERYONE studying this book.
The highlighted text is very important and has been included as a
study help for quick review of the sections. Remember, questions on
the exam may come from any section, so do not just quickly skim
through the material in this book.
NOTE: When State forms are referenced in the text, some have been
included in the back of the appendix. Many of the forms that were
not included are available online from the California Department of
