My friend Andrea, an English student

Being an English student has affected Andrea’s life in four ways. First, since she

started to study English, she has less free time. Andre says, “I have to study hard and

do a lot of homework every day”. As a result, it’s hard for Andrea to spend time doing

other things. However, being an English student has helped her to improve her English

skills. She has learned many grammar rules and a lot of vocabularies. Also, Andrea

says, “I have improved my speaking, now I can communicate my ideas in a better

way”. Moreover, she has learned to work in groups. Most of the time teachers ask her

to work in pairs or groups. She says, “It’s interesting because I have made new friends

with my same interests” Finally, Andrea has acquired self-confidence. Every day she

must give oral lessons and expositions in front of the whole class. Those activities

have helped her to be surer of herself. She says, “Teacher asks us to prepare roleplays.

Now I know how to perform myself in front of the people” In conclusion, being and

English student has had positive effects in Andrea’s life, now she’s happy and satisfied

with her achievements.
