Annual Budget and FTE ($m) Revitalising Central Geelong 2 $11.8m 5.0 FTE 2 The 2018-19 State Budget allocation of $14 million to Revitalising Central Geelong is currently held in contingency by DTF as part of a potential City Deals arrangement. $11.8 million represents the first year of the funds. Funds will not be released until a City Deal between Commonwealth, State and Local government is finalised. Following consultation with DPC, the earliest that a
Start/Finish 1 July 2018 – 30 June 2019 milestones is dependent on these funds and the timing of which they become available. Staffing is funded through 2016-17 Budget allocation.

Description DELWP 2020 Strategy: Priority: Launched by the Premier in July 2016, the 10-year Revitalising Central Geelong Action Plan sets out the Victorian Government's plan to drive change in central Geelong. Now in its third year, the Revitalising Central Geelong Action Plan has been given a further $14 million (over two years) boost in the 2018 Budget as part of a $153 million State Commitment to a City Deal for Geelong.
